Itinerary
During the trip in Lacuniacha, the visitor transforms himself in an active part of the many nature scenes that are showed in the park.
Its flora and fauna go with you along the pathways giving the chance of walk between deers, fallowdeers, reindeers, horses…see how they live ,theirs relationships, how they feed themselves, etc…
In the same way, you can see many species of trees and plants like: Wild Pine, Oaks, Beechs, Box, Birch and many others that grown natives in this wood since immemorial times.
Lacuniacha has been defined as a “biopark” whose purpose is showing a timeless forest as we could see it 10.000 years ago. Native animal species live in this forest, species that lived wild in this forest many years ago ,and nowadays due to hunting and other reasons are difficult to find.
In the moment of plan our visit to the park we must think in several questions,
To first, the location, Lacuniacha is placed at a height of almost 1400 meter, then we must think in this visit like a mountain trip. We must put on good shoes to walk in each year’s season and bring with us a raincoat or some warm clothes to provide for the fast weather changed typical of these mountains.
In Spring and Summer to put on caps and solar protection creams to the kids, it’s a good idea too.
And finally and if we go with kids ,we need to know that due to the difficult and natural line of the pathway the drive with urban baby carriage is impossible, only the 4×4 carriage with big wheels can make it. The wheelchairs, unfortunately, have the same problem in these mountain’s roads.
Lacuniacha could be defined as a “bio-park” located in a natural forest, thanks to its state of preservation, we can travel back in time to imagine how it must have been the beginning of time when naturally most species now living in the park, then did so in complete freedom.
