Lacuniacha
Lacuniacha Park is not a Zoo or a “Thematic Park”.Lacuniacha is a Nature Reserve,a forest with its own animation through his flora and fauna,where the visitor is not just a spectator but a protagonist in his own open air trip,walking round the wood into the heart of the Tena Valley.
Lacuniacha sizes 30 hectares and it’s placed in Piedrafita Township,it’s two kilometers away from the village.
From this place you can enjoy wonderful views of the valley and the majestic mountain “Peña Telera”.
The park offers the visitors a good trip for two or three hours and there’s always the chance to go for a day because there are two pic-nic areas,one of them with a little bar where you can get cold and hot sandwiches, coffee, soft drinks and ice-creams, and have your lunch time there.

The trip trough its pathways allows walks between deers,fallow deers and reindeers.Observe how they feed themselves,how they like rest,theirs relationships,their games and how do they take care of their litters
The pathway takes the visitor to other animals’ areas too,where he’ll be able to see and observe Spanish ibexs,bisons,lynxs,wolves and Prezwalski horses .
He brings together nature lovers, hikers, mountaineers and public child and youth, for whom they provide educational and cultural initiatives, like the classroom of nature, where you will experience on various aspects of flora and fauna.
Similarly, along the entire route and through various activities, visitors can appreciate the flora, learning to distinguish between pine trees, thorn, beech, birch, ash, Cereceda, oak, poplar, Acebedo, etc.. and enjoy the charm of the meadows and mixed forest in the Pyrenees.
There are also balconies with tables of interpretation, from which contemplates the vastness of the peaks and ridges that surround the park.
