Nombre: Reindeer (rangifer tarandus)

Hábitat: Tundra and Taiga

Alimentación: Herbivore, they eat grass, lichen, moss, roots and bird's eggs

Reproducción: The heat time is in September and October. The gestation lasts eight months.

Reindeers like the wood’s areas where they feel safe from the wolf.
  Females usually go in matriarcals herds with the litters and join the males in the heat time.
  Reindeers and caribús are the only deer’s spices that  females have antlers, althought smaller than the males ones.
  Due to their cold habitat they have developed a very wide and cracked hoofs to walk sure in the snow.
